Clear skies, but VERY windy! Was glad to be wearing a sweatshirt. The trail was pretty consistently uphill. I think we got about two breaks that were flat. It was quite brown. We started around 7:15am and ended around 9:20. I think we were quick because it was too windy to stop at the top! We were able to find the sign and take pictures. We were the only ones around on the way up, but saw several hikers on our way back (they probably started closer to 8/9). There was also some loose dirt on the trail, which made it a little slippery in a couple parts, but overall not too bad. I think it would be a really pretty hike to redo around April/May when it would be more green/potentially full of wildflowers!
