Beautiful time of year to hike this peak the hills were all green and alive. I brought my dog Tito and he enjoyed it. We took the 5 Oaks trail back to make it a loop and I highly recommend it and it adds 0.5mi to trip. The top was “almost knock you down” windy but the views from up there were spectacular and you look down on the PCT. We stopped for lunch after at Julian Brewery which was full of PCT hikers and has nice outdoor tables.
