Due to the limited parking at the trailhead, I arrived just before sunrise to ensure I would get a spot. Besides a large group of hikers who appeared to have watched the sunrise at the summit, I was the first hiker up the trail. The trail has beautiful views and is quite diverse, from red rock desert to scrubby hillside to forest. It took me about 5 hours round trip hiking to both viewpoints. Surprisingly it was one of the least busy Sedona trails I've hiked, likely due to very limited trailhead parking.
