We started our hike at 4 am and broke tree line around 8:30 am. Once we broke tree line the wind picked up and the temperature dropped. The higher we climbed the more ice & snow we encountered. Once we reached the summit a lot of other hikers started joining us on the peak from the surrounding trails. It was cold & icy at the summer, but on our way back the clouds disappeared and we got to see that beautiful Maine wilderness.
