Holy moly, I finally completed the Six Pack of Peaks Challenge in San Diego 🥹 I’ve scheduled to hike this last peak a few times now, but it keeps getting rescheduled by my hiking partners. Finally one of my closest friends agreed to accompany me. This was not an easy hike, but it’s so worth it! The views were beautiful and the hike itself was serene. There was a lot of snow today, so it was a bit challenging but I don’t usually see enough snow in SD, so I was more excited. We totaled 40,000 steps today, which feels fulfilling but we’re definitely exhausted.

Congratulations on finishing the challenge, approximately 55 miles of hiking so great job! Thanks as well for the info about the trail conditions. I may need to accompany another hiker who needed help finishing the challenge and I was looking at the weather.

Thank you and congratulations to you as well! Although there was snow on the trail, it didn’t feel dangerous or risky at all. There were a few parts that were icy and could’ve been a slipping hazard, but they were easily avoidable! I’m sure you’ll enjoy seeing the snow more 🙂
