Opted to take trail head from Midgley Bridge instead of N. Wilson Trail. It added some distance to the hike but was worth it. We also hiked over to the N.Canyon overlook after summiting Sedona overlook. This also added a few miles to the trip, but again, completely worth it.
It did feel a little warm hiking back down. We probably should have headed down sooner and even started earlier, but the temp was still bearable.
Lots of flowers still in bloom. Saw a couple of garder snakes on the trail and deer tracks on the top.
