We started out at 7:30am and finished at 4pm. The weather was a bit cold when started and for the first quarter of mile many bugs. After no bugs at all and it got a bit warmer. When we got to the 1st saddle, wind chilled hit us and we had to layer. 2ne saddle the wind was getting stronger and it was colder. Good thing we were prepared to layer up with gloves, beanie and down jacket. We started seeing snow at 7500′ and hiking stick was a big help crossing over those icy patches of snow. 8500 is where you see more thicker snow and use All Trails to navigated our way. No need for microspikes or Crampton. This hike sure is the hardest hike I have done but worth it. Saw many Bluejays, waterfalls and the peak was cool to see the clouds even though it was very windy.
