We did the Five Oats side trail. This is one of the most beautiful hikes in SD County. Beautiful wildflowers, not a lot but some. Temp got up to 88 by noon and shade is somewhat limited. There was a nice beautiful breeze too. This hike is not for the beginners. We did not see any snakes but did see a print one left crossing the trail, be careful!
