Briefly skipped over to Maine to do Old Speck Mt. Today!

This peak was only an hour away from the place I was staying at in NH that I decided to include it in my White Mountain saga.

It was another rainy one today, interestingly enough though it rained the entire way up by stopped just in time I made it to the peak. It was a miracle really, because that allowed me to climb the tower and even eat my lunch up there with no rain or even wind. Didn’t get too many views from up there due to the overcast but I got a few pockets in between the clouds. On the way down it didn’t rain at all until the last mile. The sun even came out briefly which was great to see.

The weather does seem to be improving which is good because I only have 3 peaks left and their all the biggest ones that really require good weather. Fingers crossed! 🤞
