Decided to do the 6 Pack of Peaks through an friend invite. Love to be outdoors but honestly been a while since I have been hiking and thought this would be a good way to get back into it. When we arrived there was way more snow than I anticipated but it was such a great day and an amazing home. There was so much snow we ended up not using the trail, ended up following in the tracks of an unknown individual before us (thank you whoever you are!).
First time I hiked in deep snow which made the trip difficult but we made it to the top in about 6 hours. Amazing views at the top as it was a clear day. Could see Catalina Island in one direction and the beautiful desert in the other.
Took 2 hours to get down the mountain stepping through soft knee deep snow which made it that much more fun.
i was pretty dead by the end of the hike but wouldn’t have traded the day!
