I should know this but this time I did not check the weather before taking off to Flatiron. A bit of a mistake! Right before we arrived at the peak, it started to rain, then to snow, and finally to hail. It was rather foggy on top of Flatiron, so we could not see anything in the valley. The hike back down was a bit challenging, since the ground was slippery and we were wet and frozen to the bone.
