I have hike Mt Baden Powell several times, but I usually start from Dawson Saddle. This year due to rains/snow etc, the road was closed for repairs and could not go beyond the Vincent Gap parking lot. It gave me the perfect opportunity to check out this trail. I only knew it was shorter mileage wise but had some switchbacks. I think we counted something like 41 switchbacks when we got to the peak. We started early in the morning and the start gazing from the parking lot was amazing (I should start all my peak hikes in the dark to see those stars).
