I'm an avid outdoor enthusiast, husband, dad, and grandpa who loves life. In addition to hiking and backpacking, I enjoy road cycling (especially long-distance events) and paddling my kayak.

During my career in the United States Air Force I served as an Accounting and Finance Officer and Assistant Professor of Aerospace Studies at North Dakota State University and the University of North Dakota. Professionally, my career as an Accountant in the private sector continues with more than 23 years of leadership in the Dairy, Biotech, and Construction industries.

I am also a Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach focused on helping people realize their inner strength and lead healthy lives through beneficial and sustainable daily habits.
