I am taking part in this challenge, and in the 52 hikes in 2021 challenge, trying to lose my 2020 covid shutdown weight, and get ready for this summer. I live in the Bay area, and teach biology at several different community colleges here. In the summer, I volunteer at Mt. Rainier National Park as a meadow rover, and have volunteered in the past at Pt. Reyes as a marine mammal docent.
