Today is my brother’s birthday. For the next 6 weeks we are the same age. I wanted to get him fishing gear because that’s what he loves to do. To me this was equivalent to going to an auto parts store. I’m very uncomfortable in this setting but decided to go for it. Once inside I was intimidated by the sheer volume of hooks and sinkers and what nots. I over heard a sales person help someone pick out hooks for Marlin fishing. I quickly realized I couldn’t even this of a question for the staff
I made a game of it. I picked out three types of Barb hooks (my name) some Danielson hooks (my son Daniel) and various things I thought he might enjoy
A long winded post for a difficult situation for me which I tried to make fun. An adventure. I probably won’t go back.
My brother enjoyed the gifts and the story
