Register for the 2025 Southern California Six-Pack of Peaks Challenge, a self-paced hiking challenge that begins January 1, 2025 and ends December 31, 2025. 

Explore new mountains, test your limits, level up your outdoor experience, and expand the boundaries of what you are capable of. 

Complete the hikes on a schedule that works for you. You can hike them in six days, six weeks, or take the entire year. Start with easier hikes and work your way up to more challenging climbs. The hikes begin shorter with Volcan Mountain, graduating to longer more challenging hikes, culminating with El Cajon (“the hardest hike in San Diego”) and Palomar, the high point of San Diego County. 

There are seven mountains to choose from. Hike any six to complete the challenge and earn your place on the finishers list.
