My second go to the top after a few years, and a lesson learned. Incredible views from the summit of course, however, the bushes there
Left at 730am. First mile was easy. Second mile a little tougher with a 1000 ft gain. Third mile, relatively low grade.
Challenging climb but great views along the way. View of Humphreys from the top was pretty nice. Had to hustle because of storm clouds rolling
This hike was a challenge due to the heat! Not strenuous but a would bring poles on this one. We did it in 7 hours.
Start early on this one! We started at 6:45am and the temps were great, but since it takes about 7 hours with both views it
Bear Mountain delivers every time. It has everything and I love it! Elevation gain, route-finding (but nothing too difficult), scrambling, and beautiful views!
