Trail is well marked and defined, with some evidence of recent work in spots. Plenty of shade, particularly after mile 2, and during the majority
Great climb. Switchbacks were tough! Mesa views were beautiful. Lots of small loose rock so it can be a pride taker coming down.
1st challenge completed-switchbacks after switchbacks. Fallen a few times lol. Bugs everywhere! Lol. It was fun though…I had a great partner to hike with.
