Weather was quite warm, bordering on hot. We should have started our hike earlier in the day.
This hike was hot so start early in the morning. There is very little shade and this is a very steep uphill hike. It was
Great views of Flagstaff and surrounding peaks. Trail is ok but I would get started early and bring extra water.
Started at North Wilson Trail 123 around 8am. At lest half of the trail was shaded in the morning which was a great advantage. There
Great view and was able to climb to the lookout tower. Could see wildfires in the distance.
