This hike was a scramble all the way up. I've never done much rock scrambling but today I got my lesson! This mountain kicked my
Bear Mountain this last weekend was sunny with full exposure in 93 degrees on the mountain. Summit was clear views 365 degrees from the top.
The trail was not only steep but had some long steps of red rock and I have a 31” inseam! There were so many layers
Amazing hike in great weather. Nice views of Humphreys once you get to the first bench and incredible views at the Sedona lookout as well.
I loved Bear Mountain in Sedona! ???????? This hike was one of the best challenges I've done and I'd do it again in a heartbeat.
