Bear Mountain

Very hot. I drank 3 liters of water.

The hike was absolutely beautiful and absolutely too hot. We started a little before 7 am – I recommend starting at least an hour sooner.

Under bluebird skies and with warmer temperatures (90s), my son and I enjoyed a wonderful hike on Bear Mtn. We thoroughly admired the typical spectacular

Breathtaking views!  I started at 7:30, and it took me 4hrs 20 min.  It got extremely hot at the end.

We started at 8:20 so the sun was strong. The breeze made it comfortable. I recommend an earlier start. There was three main false summits

The 3 headed bear was a bit deceiving-false summits…pretty warm & few shade but that was expected.   I'd start earlier if I were to hike
