Granite Mountain

Our backup hike since Humphrey's was going to be windy that day. It was not a disappointment. It did feel like the easiest hike; but

What a gorgeous day for a hike! (My 6th!!). Rain the night before left the air clear and beautiful.  Drove up from the east valley

The gate doesn’t open until 6am so we waited for the camp host to open the gate. Got to the trail parking 5 minutes later.

Hit the trail around 6am to beat the heat! It was my first time here and it’s a neat mountain. Big granite boulders and great

A VERY chilly start, about 45 degrees, but warmed up quickly once the sun rose over the horizon.  This is a really nice hike ~

Battled through some nausea on this one and really had to dig deep!  Hiked with mom.  Warm day.
