Quit challenging at my age (72) but if you take your time and stop to breathe when you run out of breath it’s not so

Really good day making the summit. 445 am start time, summit at 920 am.

Perfect weather. Started with headlamps at 4:45am. Back by 2:30. Such a hard hike but amazing. Second time in 2 years ♥️

We left at 4:45 am and hiked under the Harvest Moon with the aid of headlamps. It was an absolutely beautiful day to climb Humphreys!

Trail conditions were great – not too many people so it was easy to hike.  There was a wildfire north of Sedona, winds brought smoke
