Mount Elden

Beautiful view at the top!

Last week was brutal in Phoenix: 117° relentless heat, which is somewhat unusual for June, so Flagstaff was a welcome escape! My sister and I departed

It was a sunny and 91 degree trailhead start to Mt. Elden. The beginning of the trail is covered with logs and difficult to find.

Tough hike with altitude. Started thundering at the top around noon.

Nice, tough hike with elevation. Glad it was only 6 miles. Started thundering with rain clouds in the distance while we were at the towers.

Don’t let it  fool  you,  it may seem like a small little hike but it’s definitely a nice challenge!!! good elevation increase great views of
