Hike #3 of 6. Hot but nice weather. Second time hiking Greylock. Summit views, and streams along the way, do not disappoint!
Trail was wet in places. Very hot and humid. Some clouds but no rain until hike was done. A nice hike and a decent workout.
My friend and I started roughly 9am, using the Burrows Trail. Our goal was to summit and look for the parts of the plane. Â
It had rained the night before so the Ammonoosuc Ravine was flowing! Started after sunrise and it was sunny and cool ! About 1/2 way
Great hike. Trails are narrow, rocky, and muddy in spots but these woodlands are gorgeous and serene. Monroe trail was a steady and enjoyable incline.
Chose Bear Mountain as it’s closer from where I live than other picks. It was wet due to the rain for the past few days
