Hot and humid with full sun but a nice breeze. Once I reached Pamola and Knife Edge, it was gusts of 40mph winds and full
We had a break hike to the top! It’s always surprising to hike all the way up to find all the people who drove up
We started at the Piper trail head and it was a gradual climb til the fun bouldering section. Thankfully the rocks were smooth and dry.
Summit was in  the clouds but most of the hike was just below. Decent views. Warmer than usual temps. No rain.
Well, didn’t need to do this on one of the hottest days of the year, but…with this hike up Mansfield, I completed three lists: VT
