bear mountain

Is was a nice day to hike and not very strenuous for my first of the challenge.

Rain forecasted on this day weeks leading up to this challenge.  Mother nature blessed us with perfect hiking conditions.  Starting at the Undermountain trail head,

Second New England peak in as many days.  Mt Riga State Park in Connecticut (site of the Bear Mountain trailhead) is only about 40 miles

Probably the easiest hike I've done on these challenges. Lots of mud and streams, great views at the end.
