Started off with a bit of unexpected extra steps… the gate is closed at the bottom of Notch Road… requires a 2+ mile road walk

Arrived at north gate of Notch Road to find it locked. Proceeded up the road to the junction of the AT. Trail wet with snow

This was a great Mountain to start the year off with, the trail has waterfalls and beautiful views the whole way up. Poles are recommended
