This was my third time at Mailbox. Â My first attempt was cut short after the talus field due to heat exhaustion. Â I reclaimed the summit
Drove from Seattle on Friday 4/16 and camped at Eagle Cliff campground, about 30 mins from the TH. On Saturday 4/17 we got up at
Mount St. Helens was amazing! Made it to the summit but it was brutal with the high winds. Tried to snowboard down three different times
Had the most amazing day finally summiting Mount Saint Helens on attempt #4. The weather was perfect. The trail conditions were a bit tricky —
Hiked old trail up, new trail down. This trail tested me, especially with the current snowy conditions which made it an extra slog going up
The Mailbox is about four feet down in a hole in the snow, which made for fun pictures! We were the first ones to summit
