camp muir

Husband was acclimating at Camp Muir with a climbing team this weekend (wind was too bad Tuesday night, so they didn’t try for the summit),

Was a very cloudy day; no visibility at all other than 15 min of blue sky.

July hike up to Camp Muir. Great snow and conditions. Bluebird day. Hiked up and snowboarded down.

Lots of snow from the very start, winds were 50 up to 45 mph at times, overall great hike.

Solo hike to Camp Muir only saw a few others in the upper area all day.  No real pathway showing the route so I got

Good weather, the trail was paved the first mile and gravel the next 1.5 miles. Then it gets tricky. You have snowfields and glacier's also
