Mailbox Peak

February hike up to Mailbox Peak.  Some snow.  Nice conditions.  Watched a paraglider launch off the summit.  Great day.

Got to the trailhead at about 7:30am and started off.  Only encountered 2 groups on the way up.  I hauled butt up the trail stopping

Slushy snow until the Boulder field, then deep snow with crust to the summit. I used microspikes then snowshoes. Beautiful, clear sunny day
