Perfect hike to spend with family!!

Started off at 830AM. Cool initially until the fire road, then super sunny. Less shaded areas on the dirt road. Finished huke at 12:40PM.

This was a long drive from the East Bay, and a long hot hike. Nice wildflowers and views. Can’t beat the post-hike Frose at Gott’s

A lot of switchbacks for the first mile of the trail. Not a lot of shade after that so go early. We started at 7A

Hiking above beautiful wine country. It was an enjoyable hike though lots of exposure and heat. It drove us to need to refuel with burgers
