Mount Tamalpais

It was a cool and windy day but sunny.  The hike was one of most scenic hikes in the Bay Area that I have done. 

Great hike all around. Huge views of the bay, SF can be seen but its tucked away beind another hill at times. Lots of poisen

Beautiful hike out Steep Ravine and back on Matt Davis.  Looped a little extra at the top.  Not sure the short spur to the peak

This was my 3rd (3/6) of the Northern California Six Packs of Peaks Challenge. I started with a friend at 8:45am and ended at 7:45pm

What happens when you hike 17.3 miles and gain 3868 in elevation in 6 hours and 46 minutes? A great time! That’s what happened on

Got to hit all three peaks. You can refill water at east peak if needed. Weekday/no crowds made this one faster and easier than usual.
