Had a great hike after a long break. The hike was very comfortable with having shaded trees mostly in the path and no steep elevation.

Little warm, but the trail provides a lot of shade. Ran into a few rattlers, but the trail was wide enough to avoid them and

The trails were in great condition, and the weather was low 70s. It was not a steep hike, but a gradual climb.

Started out “early” at 9 am to beat the heat.  All good – just some hot day haze limiting visibility from the summit.
