Mount Umunhum

Trail was clear with some cyclists, other hikers. Saw and heard some loud black birds, some little fuzzy caterpillars. The overlook was a little foggy,

I wanted to start at the Bald Mountain parking lot, but it was full when I got there! So we parked at the summit parking

Great trail with good signage. The trail is closed at the very top so you need to take the alternate route up the parking lot

Relatively easy hike with lots of shade. Recommended to start early (parking lot opens at 7am) if hiking in big groups since parking is limited.

It was beautiful clear day, not windy or chilly.
