There is limited parking at the trailhead. Start early to get parking (or to get respite from the heat in the peak summer). Another option

Parking very limited at Bald Mountain Parking lot. Parked at the very top & hiked down then up. Windy at the top warmed up quick.

Great hike with perfect weather to enjoy the local outdoors.

It was quite an adventure for my group. Waking up at 6.30am to take (2) buses from Emeryville to SF, take the first weekend Caltrain

Very few parking at Bald Mountain parking lot.

sunny day and pleasant weather made this hike a great one, staring from top due to parking shortage going down and then climbing back up
