Beautiful conditions for an early winter hike. Had the trail to ourselves until we returned to Little Yosemite. Lots of sunshine illuminating the bright green

Great season to take on the long trek to the peak during cool weather with the beautiful green hills. Encountered three newts and a coyote

Chilly start to Rose Peak with temps in the 30s, heading out from Lichen Bark, near the finish line area of the Ohlone 50k race.

Amazing creek with running water.  Lots of birds and cows.
