Wonderful weather and wonderful hike. Many hikers around which was very nice. After the initial climb trails flattens for long time which felt never ending

Hiked 28.4 miles, summitted both Mt Rose & Mission Peak, 7k elevation gain, carried 25lbs pack, completed track (Del Valle to Ohlone College parking structure)

We started our hike at 8:30am. We would have started earlier but the park gate opens at 8am. I got my permits a day before

It was a great hike, make sure you take essential water, food, appropriate clothing for the weather. it did get cold at the summit
