Met 2 hikers hiking PCT. They shared a bit of their journey with us. Amazing indeed!! Very cold & windy at tge summit.
Perfect Day
Started at Vincent Gap and hiked up Mt Baden-Powell, Mt. Burnham, and Throop Peak(12.9 miles).
Trail Sistas instant friends
Perfect weather and a great energy with 13 chatting women so excited to be on the trail. There were a few trees down that crossed
Bad end power
Patchy snow but doable without crampons, snow for slushy on our way back around 11am. Also trees blocking the trail but manageable to pass two
Great starter peak!
Stay on trail! Switchbacks are conducive to one-way traffic, but fellow hikers were more than respectful in letting you cross and wearing their masks. Beautiful
