This is the eighth year for the Southern California Six-Pack of Peaks Challenge. Your welcome packet will be mailed to you in the next five to seven days and contains your sticker packet and other goodies.
Here's how to get started.
Personalize your profile. Update your avatar and profile cover image to share your favorite hiking destinations. You can also share your social media links like Instagram and Facebook.
Introduce yourself in the forums. Let us know what makes you tick. What is your “WHY?” Join us around the campfire!
Download the Social Hiker app. We have apps for both Android and iOS that make it easier than ever to stay connected with instant notifications when someone replies to your discussions or comments on your hikes. Learn more.
Start planning your hikes. We have detailed trail guides to all the peaks in the challenge, but remember, these are just suggested routes. You can hike from any trailhead you prefer to make it challenging for you. You can hike them in the suggested order, or in any order you prefer. Start putting dates on the calendar and planning those hikes.
Start a 3-month trial subscription to GaiaGPS Premium*. GaiaGPS is our recommended app for navigating trails. You can download the GPS data and maps from our detailed trail guides for offline use on your hikes. With the premium subscription, you have access to lots of additional map layers, including precipitation forecast, NatGeo maps and much more.
Remember that hikes must be completed between January 1, 2022 and December 31, 2022 to qualify for the challenge.
