I am from Seattle, love the green and the water. The weather forecast was set for sun, but when we arrived it was cloudy and raining. Thankfully we brought rain jackets just in case. My Mom has worked for REI for many years, so thankfully I feel very prepared when it comes to the gear category. Although it was wet, it was a beautiful hike. The waterfalls were flowing, creeks were filled, everything was green. It rained our entire way up. We stopped at Sturtevant Camp to escape the rain for a little, and eat lunch. By the time we were on our way down, it started to have some sun and blue sky peaks. This hike did not have a major reward at the top, but what it did have was great sprawling trails and many changing sceneries from deep into the woods, hills, views, and more. It was a wonderful experience!
