Parking was an absolute mess so I parked half a mile down from the trailhead, adding an extra 1 mi to the total mileage. As always, this trail seems to go on forever on the way up and down. It was a very hot day but not so buggy yet. I had great company but again, I’m going to keep telling myself I don’t want to do this again.
