Got up early and headed up to Mt. Umunhum and arrived at about 8:00am.  At that time, there were still about 5 spots left in the lot (we had heard parking was an issue).  The hike up was beautiful with some great views of the valley below and the abandoned radar station above.  Lots of great trees and vegetation along the trail – our highlight was some old growth manzanita.

Seemed like we were among the first to go up as we didn't really have anyone pass us on the way down with the exception of about half a dozen cyclists.  There was still some snow on the ground and a few icy spots on the way up, but it didn't slow us down too much.

Overall great hike!
