Such a great hike!! Insanely foggy day! At the top we could barely see 10 feet in front of us which also made it very cold and wet. But the energy of the fog was soo cool. Very eerie. It made for perfect hiking weather so comfortable it was nice to be a bit chilly. We met some other fellow Six Pack Peak Challengers which was super cool! I love the camaraderie when you're hiking…like hey do your legs hurt so bad its painful to squat to pee and you're nervous you won't be able to get back up….cool me too…haha super great day. Finally home after enjoying a nice beer out. Solid day. Solid hike. Knarly trees, heart rocks, and cute cabins. It's hard to find flowing water here in SoCal and being from the East Coast it almost felt like home being there with the clear water, green trees, and acorns!! Definitely gonna go back and backpack this one! Psyched for the next one!!

  1. I’ve backpacked 5 out of the 6 peaks (still need to overnight on Mt Baldy). It’s a great alternative way to do the six-pack.
