Perfect weather. desert flowers in full bloom, very little wind at the summit. Only true bummer was that the summit sign was gone! Nooo! Friends were visiting from Colorado and were really looking forward to our wooden signs!

      Hi. 3 am. I was the slow one in the group. They would have done this a little faster without me. Got to Long Valley (level of tram) 12:30, Wellman Divide 3:15, Summit 5:15, hung out for about an hour at summit and back to tramway at 8:30. It was beautiful!

        Yeah well, they don’t live at sea level, either! 😉

        I’ve never hiked Cactus to Clouds, but it’s on my list. I think.
