Last time we did this was in the rain! This time the it was cool, sunny, and beautiful. We hiked in Thursday afternoon and camped at Eagles Eyrie/Aerie at the Sunol backpackers camp. Got up early friday morning and left camp with the sunrise at 6:30am. Made it to the peak in 3.5 hours and enjoyed an early lunch and a well deserved break. We could see Mt. Um, Mt. Tam and Brushy Peak from up there. Beautiful day! The hike down was about 2.5 hours and lovely as well.
