First hiked from Del Valle and this time from Sunol. Most of the this hike was on fire roads. Not technical.
Park opened at 7:00 AM. Gates are locked at night but only for cars wanting to enter. You can still leave. We found the peak log box this time.
Started hiking at 8:45 AM and ended at 7:50 PM. Dark at 6:30. Used headlamps (Feb 22nd). AllTrails: Rose Peak From Sunol.
Must be super lucky because this hike was perfect temperature, no wind, no rain, no mud, good views. A bit smoggy today.
