Perfect day to hike to Rose Peak to complete the six pack of peaks challenge. Took us 4 hours to the peak and 3 hours back.  Much more gradual climb than Mt. Sizer! A little cool & windy at the top but overall perfect weather for hiking. Only saw a few backpackers coming out and 1 hiker coming from the Del Valle direction.
