Beautiful day for a hike, until we entered the fog. I hiked with two friends and my brother. The first friend turned around at about mile 3.5, the second at about 4 (right before the backbone). My brother and I summited!
We met a fellow set of hikers on the trail and hiked from the ski lift (where we met up with them) to the summit and back again (where they stopped while we continued). Our journey with them was peppered with thoughts and comments on food: specifically in-n-out burgers. It was fun having a bit of trail family out there with us.
