The day started off clear at the trailhead, but it wasn’t long before we were in the fog. As we got within a mile of the peak, the wind was picking up. By the time we reached the steps the wind was so intense winds and the temperature was so cold we could see some snow flakes. We could only spend a few minutes on the summit as our faces were getting wind burned. We descended quickly to get back down into the trees. Although we had no view, it was an invigorating experience.

Great job continuing your trek even when the going got foggy! Judging from your smiling faces, I’d say the fog didn’t end up bothering you too much! I love the pun in your title too 🙂
